Our Story

Perpetuus Advanced Materials was founded to solve a critical challenge: moving graphene from the laboratory into reliable, industrial scale production. For decades, the extraordinary potential of graphene was limited by inconsistent quality, high costs, and the difficulty of dispersing it into real world materials.

Our journey began with a singular focus, to develop a scalable and environmentally sound process for producing graphene that industry could actually use. After years of research and engineering, we perfected our patented plasma based nano engineering technology. This clean, solvent free process delivers high quality, surface functionalised graphene nanoplatelets at commercial volumes and competitive costs.

Today, Perpetuus operates globally, supplying industrial quantities of graphene masterbatches and nanomaterials to partners in tyres, elastomers, coatings, fertilisers, metals, and lubricants. What began as a pioneering R&D effort has grown into a global manufacturing enterprise, enabling our customers to create stronger, lighter, and more sustainable products across a diverse range of applications.

At the core of our innovation is a patented DBD plasma treatment process. This technology modifies the surface chemistry of graphene nanoplatelets and other 2D materials, enabling precise functionalisation so they disperse uniformly and bond effectively with host matrices such as rubber, polymers, metals, and composites.

Unlike traditional acid or solvent based methods, our plasma process is clean, chemical free, and zero toxic waste. It operates at low temperature and energy input, making it scalable and environmentally responsible.
